QLess Network Requirements:

  • Minimum Network Requirements
    • 1Mbps Broadband or DSL connection, Over Ethernet.
  • Recommended Network Requirements
    • 5Mbps Broadband Connection, Over Ethernet or WiFi.
      • We Recommend Ethernet Hardwired connections for best performance

QLess Kiosk System Requirements:

  • Dedicated PC
  • Intel Core i3 or equivalent dual core processor
  • 4gb of ram
  • 32gb of storage
  • Intel HD graphics or equivalent
  • We highly recommend our own kiosks for guaranteed compatibility and support.  Contact your account manager for more information.

Ticket Printing Requirements:

  • Latest version of Java plugin Or for Java free see here
  • Printer must be made the default printer on host OS
  • Printing is currently not available for iPad

Tablet requirements:

iOS:

  • iPad Air or higher
  • Latest and previous 2 versions of iOS
  • Printed tickets are currently not supported on iPad
Windows:
  • Ticket printing is supported
  • Microsoft Surface Pro 2 or newer is recommended

Kiosk Software Requirements:

  • QLess Kiosk is web-based and works on several different operating systems, including Windows 7 or higher, OSX Yosemite or higher, Ubuntu Linux, and the current and previous versions of iOS.

  • We support Internet Explorer 11, and most recent versions of Firefox and Chrome. We recommend Firefox 70.X

    • Other browsers such as Edge, Safari, and Opera are not fully supported nor recommended at this time

  • Printed tickets in QLess Kiosk require the Java Runtime plugin, version 7, update 7 or higher or can be run Java Free, with additional configuration in Firefox, See here
  • Port 8000 is required for websocket connections, which are required for IE8+
  • Port 443 is required for everything else, including IE8+ 

Unsupported Kiosk Hardware:

Currently the following hardware is unsupported or untested for QLess Kiosk. If you have a question about compatibility with your device, please contact your account manager for assistance.

  • Speakers attached to audio output of PC, or equivalent device
  • Speakers must be the default audio output source

Television Hardware

Currently Any Modern television with an HDMI port and a minimum of 720p Resolution is usable with the Qstick and modern Thin client Pc's to run Monitor.

Queue Manager Software Requirements:

  • QLess Queue Manager is web-based and works on several different operating systems, including Windows 7 or higher, OSX Yosemite or higher, and Ubuntu Linux.
  • Browser compatible with HTML5, Java, and Adobe Flash Player such as Google Chrome 41 and below, Internet Explorer 11 and below, or Mozilla Firefox version 50 and below.  We recommend Mozilla Firefox.
  • Port 8000 is required for websocket connections, which are required for IE8+
  • Port 443 is required for everything else, including IE8+

Unsupported Hardware:

  • iPad’s do not currently support Queue Manager (use QLess Concierge)

  • Android tablets
